The bomber peeked around the corner of the stairway, a delicate chocolate smell in the air. He eyed the stairs, looking for hidden traps that could be concealed. His eyes narrowed at a portrait midway down the stairs. It looked mighty suspicious...
A sudden clang from the kitchen stole his attention. Hearing a yell, he immediately shot down the stairs, hardly noticing the portrait swinging open behind him before it slowly reattached to the wall.

With a sigh like the ashes of charred trees, he turns to face the other side of the bed. The outline of a human sits on the edge of the mattress, head bowed and body trembling.
"Yamamoto." Gokudera sits up, blanket twisted around his waist. "What's wrong?"
The other man turns his head, and the glow of the street lamp outside their window illuminates the scar on his chin. Gokudera stares at it as Yamamoto shakes his head.
